ASK IN THE SIEGE CODEX DISCORD

For a timely, quick response, post your question in the correctly labeled Discord section. Use Suggestions for ideas, Bug Reports when something is broken, or General Questions when you need help. Posting in the right section helps us find and answer it faster.

OPEN DISCORD

Siege Codex is an independent, fan-made companion app for Rainbow Six Siege. This page covers the questions we get most. If none of it fixes your problem, email us — a real person reads that mailbox.

Contact support
support@siegecodex.com

This is the only support address for Siege Codex. We will never contact you from a personal account, and we will never ask for your password, an invite code, a recovery link, or full card details. Treat any message that does as a phishing attempt.

We are a small team, so please allow a few days for a reply.

Password and username recovery are self-serve and usually faster than emailing us.

  • Forgot your password? Use the reset link and check spam for the email.
  • Forgot your username? Recover it with the first name, last name, and recovery email on your account.
  • Reset link expired or never arrived? Request a new one — old links stop working once a newer one is issued.
  • Still locked out after trying both? Email support with your username and recovery email. Never send your password.

Still stuck? Email support@siegecodex.com with "Account access" in the subject.

My Siege Profile shows the wrong details

Your Ubisoft name, tracker link, peak rank, and Discord are yours alone — nobody else can edit them.

  • Open Siege Profile and check the fields directly. Greyed-out text inside an empty box is an example hint, not a saved value.
  • Type your own details over it and press Save Profile. Empty fields stay empty and are not shown to anyone.
  • Everything on that page — Ubisoft name, tracker link, peak rank, Discord — can be read by your accepted friends, so only fill in what you want them to have. Your Ubisoft name and peak rank additionally appear as chips on your creator page.
  • If a value you never entered is actually saved on your profile, email support with a screenshot — that is a bug we want to see.

Creating an account and joining

Siege Codex is open — anyone with the link can create a free account. Invite codes are optional.

  • Open the sign-in screen and choose Create a free account. No code is needed.
  • If someone gave you an invite code, you can still redeem it on the redeem screen; it is optional.
  • Never post an invite code publicly or send it to us in an email.

Still stuck? Email support@siegecodex.com with "Invite" in the subject.

Squads, friends, and matches

Squads follow you across the whole app and do not end when a match ends.

  • You can only invite accepted friends to a squad — add them under Friends first.
  • If Browse, Create, or Siege Profile are hidden, your squad leader has locked personal strat browsing for the session. The active match and the leader's team plan still work.
  • Starting a match in Siege Codex never queues Rainbow Six or contacts Ubisoft. It opens the companion tracker only.

Membership and billing

Subscription changes are handled through the billing portal, not by email.

  • Open Settings to view your current tier and manage or cancel your subscription.
  • Cancelling leaves your access active until the end of the period you already paid for.
  • For a charge you do not recognise, email support with the date and last four digits of the card only. Never email full card numbers.

Still stuck? Email support@siegecodex.com with "Billing" in the subject.

Report a strat, a player, or a safety issue

Reporting from inside the app attaches the right context automatically.

  • Use the report control on a strat to flag stolen, abusive, or rule-breaking content.
  • For harassment or anything involving a minor's safety, email support directly and mark it urgent in the subject.
  • Include usernames and links. Do not include private conversations belonging to other people beyond what is needed.

Still stuck? Email support@siegecodex.com with "Report" in the subject.

Privacy, data, and account deletion

You can request deletion yourself; it is a reversible job until it is processed.

  • Request account deletion from Settings. You can cancel it while it is still pending.
  • Deletion removes your login, profile, strats, and stored data, and cancels any active subscription.
  • To ask what data we hold about you, email support from the address on your account.

Still stuck? Email support@siegecodex.com with "Privacy" in the subject.

Bug reports and feedback

We are a small team and genuinely read every report.

  • Tell us the page name, what you expected, and what happened instead.
  • Screenshots help a lot. Crop out anything you would not want a stranger to see.
  • Include your username so we can look at the right account.

Creating and publishing a strat

Anything you make starts private. Publishing is what puts it in front of other players.

  • Open Create, pick the map, side and bombsite, then name the plan.
  • Use Save & Publish when it is ready. Public strats appear in the Catalog for everyone.
  • Found someone else’s plan you want to adapt? Use Copy to My Drafts and edit your own version.
  • Add an operator for every slot - a strat cannot be published with no operators on it.
  • Set how many players the plan needs. That is what other players filter on.
  • Choose who can see it, then publish. Public strats appear in the Catalog for everyone.

Squad roles and who can do what

A squad has one leader. Most controls that affect everyone belong to them.

  • The leader pushes a strat to the squad and hands out operator assignments.
  • Any member can start a ranked flow, which ends the squad’s current live match for everyone.
  • Members can browse and open strats on their own without breaking the shared plan.
  • Leaving a squad does not delete anything you made - your strats stay yours.

Account settings and security

Email, password and recovery details all live in Settings.

  • Change your email or password from Settings. Both ask for your current password.
  • Keep a recovery email on the account - it is how username recovery works.
  • Siege Codex will never ask for your password by email. Never send it to support.
  • You can request account deletion from Settings, and cancel that request before it is processed.

Something looks wrong or out of date

Most display problems clear on their own; here is the order worth trying.

  • Refresh the page. A tab left open a long time can be showing an old view.
  • If a strat you expect is missing, check the strat-size filter you chose when starting the match.
  • If the app says it is reconnecting, it is retrying on its own - give it a moment before restarting.
  • Still wrong after a refresh? Email support with your username, the map and what you expected to see.

Membership tiers and app roles

Who can do what, and what the paid tier actually changes.

  • Premium unlocks the paid product features. Friends & Family Premium has the same Premium product features with no charge.
  • Admin roles are about moderating content, not money: Limited Admin cannot manage billing.
  • There is exactly one President account, held by the app operator, and it cannot be deleted or transferred casually.
  • Squad leadership is separate from all of this - it only affects the squad you are in.

Still stuck? Email support@siegecodex.com with "Membership" in the subject.

Fixing a mistake safely

Correcting data is usually one step, not a reset.

  • Use the shortest safe fix first - Undo Latest corrects the last round without touching the rest of the match.
  • WIN and LOSS always describe your team, never the enemy. A mis-scored round is an undo, not a new match.
  • Only abandon a match if the whole thing is wrong; it ends the match for every member of the squad.
  • Nothing you undo is lost from your history - the corrected result is what counts.

Never send us these

No support request will ever need them, and sending them puts your account at risk:

  • your password, or a screenshot with a password visible;
  • unused invite codes;
  • password-reset or magic links (they are single-use and can be stolen);
  • full card numbers, CVV codes, or bank details;
  • anyone else's personal information.
